Thank you for watching my talk!

I help Business builders with Earned Expertise stand out from the Vapid Voices

Marketing has gotten shouty.

What if you could whisper?

I joke I’m an arms dealer equipping people who have expertise and a desire to serve others with the communication power they need to succeed in a world flooded by AI slop, empty hype, and business charlatans.

But you can call me Jay.

Forget “getting in front of” your audience 10 times this week. Say something they’ll think about 10 times a day.

I help you turn your expertise into a powerful premise and IP you own. I take a framework-forward approach to working with seasoned professionals 1:1, extracting from you what you’ve been trying to say all along.

Clarify your message. Give incredible talks. Grow a platform of impact around the premise we develop.

go from chasing business to being highly sought

I’ve been trusted by dozens of individual creators and entrepreneurs, plus brands like Salesforce, GoDaddy, Wistia, and Mailchimp. I’ve hosted more than 800 podcast episodes (and now host the show How Stories Happen) and have given speeches in 25 states and 3 countries, to audiences ranging from 4,000 marketers at industry expos to 40 CEOs in closed-door masterminds.

I’m a proud New England resident, a troubled Knicks fan, and an obsessive grilled pizza chef. My grandest aspiration (though I’ll also admit it’s my biggest delusion) is to be the Anthony Bourdain of business storytelling.
