Recovery required
The process of getting physically stronger requires periods of recovery. Without rest, the workouts don’t quite work. These moments of recovery enable you to bring your full self to the next moment of exertion. Otherwise, the improvements you’re hoping to see happen more slowly, or not at all, or they don’t quite stick.
