Human decency

The pandemic re-surging isn’t about the economy or limitations on personal freedoms.

The suspension of visas by the White House isn’t about whether or not the next Google launches in the US or abroad.

The protests aren’t (just) about George Floyd or defunding the police.

Some of these are symptoms, others (like tying a pandemic to the economy and just much else) are just selfish. We need to focus on the only thing that truly matters: caring for our fellow humans. Treating other people like people.

Human decency.

Turns out “love thy neighbor as yourself” didn’t come with any qualifiers or footnotes.
