How execs waste time
How much work is done simply because people don’t want to question executives, even when they KNOW something is a bad use of their time?
Top-down, command and control communication is a sign that the org is in decline. Jump ship and find actual leadership which values your opinions and ideas. The best leaders (or, better said, leaders) trust their teams. That’s why they were hired. If that team has opinions that run counter to the executives, those executives want to hear about it. After all, why would anyone want their teams wasting their time and working unhappy all the while?
Speak up. If you can’t, get out.
