Two new podcasts on creativity, marketing, and changing how you see the work

Today, a full year of work begins to trickle out into the world. Over the course of the next few months, I’ll be the proud parent of three shiny new shows: two podcasts (one for a brand client and one for the media company I run, Marketing Showrunners), and one video documentary series (also for a client).

Both podcasts are now available.

3 Clips: understanding great podcasts, a few little pieces at a time. On this show, we deconstruct branded shows—and some legendary series outside our echo chamber—to make sense of why a show works or doesn’t work, so we can create better podcasts ourselves.

This announcement post has the full overview and links to the podcast players and newsletter.

3 Clips is a podcast from Marketing Showrunners. (New episodes every Monday.)

I Made It: creators at the top of their field take us inside the making of a favorite project. Rather than interview some world-class creators more generally, on this show, we endeavor to understand the creative process for what it is: a series of hidden choices, moments, and emotions that add up to building something special. Season 1 features Chase Jarvis (photographer and CEO, CreativeLive), Joy Cho (lifestyle entrepreneur and most-pinned person on Pinterest), Joanna Wiebe (copywriter and founder, Copyhackers), Gibi (YouTube celebrity and ASMR artist), Ann Handley (WSJ bestselling author and partner, MarketingProfs), and AJ Jacobs (4x New York Times bestseller and editor at large, Esquire).

Each episode, they take us inside one project, giving us a view of these people like you won’t find elsewhere.

This is the official podcast of Podia, which provided the full launch details here. (New episodes every other week.)

As always, I feel grateful for your support, and if you’re a fan of the ideas above, I hope you enjoy both shows.
