There's no clever answer
Sometimes someone is productive just because they enjoy the work.
Sometimes they’re successful because they’ve chosen the work they’re doing. It wasn’t thrust on them.
Sometimes they’re well-known because they focused on a few people who said they liked their work, and then word of mouth kicked in. There was no sneaky growth hack.
Sometimes, there is no clever answer to reveal why someone is thriving or how a business can grow. It can be that simple: work created generously, created because the creator liked doing it.
We like to think we can exert control over the results. I have a different belief: We can’t. We can only exert control over the work we put out.
