[ SHORT WELCOME VIDEO ft. Drew & Jay ]

Call it “the Excess of the expert.”

“The curse of the Creator.”

“The Spiral of the speaker.”

It’s that maddening moment when you try to make your mountain of material make sense. Someone asks what you’re known for, what you speak about, how you can help — and you hear yourself giving the long answer. Again.

It's not that you lack material. Just the opposite: you have a notes app full of fragments, a folder called "big ideas," frameworks and concepts galore on your machine, maybe even an entire manifesto in a doc. Somewhere. Maybe. It’s hard to find, and it's even harder to say in ways that are memorable and original.

[What you know] matters.

but what you say and how you say it determine if they care.

You know more than enough. That's never been the problem.

But when it’s time to give them your one-line pitch, or they ask what makes you different, you reach for something clear and come back holding a little of everything. So you keep circling. Tinkering. Rewording. Searching. You stack more ideas and expertise onto the pile, and you’re stuck under it. It can feel hard to breathe.

You don't need more to say. You need the ownable idea underneath it all.

[PROOF: 1–2 short TESTIMONIALS HERE]

Everything you create runs on one idea

Your talk, your posts, your pitch, your book, your offers: they're all downstream of the idea at the center of your work.

When that idea is sharp, everything else gets easier. Your content has a point of view. Your pitch fits in a sentence. The right people start to recognize you, and then repeat your ideas to others. You can stop chasing attention and become the one others seek. They talk about you when you aren’t in the room.

But when your idea isn't sharp, you end up polishing things that were never going to matter as much: website copy and design, a better speaker reel, one more framework on the pile, one more video in the feed.

Start With a Problem, Not your Expertise

Most experts build their platform around one question: "What do I know that I could teach?"

It feels like the natural place to start. It's also why so many ideas, posts, and talks sound the same. Start with what you know, and you end up with interchangeable how-to lessons:

  • Here are the 10 things I know.

  • Here are the 7 steps you should follow.

  • Here are the 4 tactics that work (maybe shared as an acronym: NOPE)

Practical? Sure. Distinctive? Hardly. Your expertise matters, but plenty of people can match it.

What they can't match is how you see the problem.

The best ideas start there. Maybe you've noticed something that doesn't make sense. Maybe the conventional wisdom in your field frustrates you. Maybe you see something everyone else has overlooked, you have a hunch you want to test, or there's a question you simply can't stop thinking about.

That's where we start. Not with "What can I teach?" but "What problem do I believe needs to be solved differently?" and then: "What questions about that problem are worth investigating?"

That’s how you build an idea worth owning

So, how close are you to yours?

Finish this sentence:
I talk about [___]. Unlike others who talk about [___], only I show audiences [___].

Stuck on that last blank? Most people are.

The first two blanks are about what you know, but the third is about what only you see.

That's the hardest part to share quickly or share at all.

That’s exactly where we’re going in our program together.

Let’s build your ownable idea

❌ This isn't a course. There's no video library to binge, no lectures to sit through, no made-up certificate at the end.

✅ Instead, the whole program runs on one simple approach: completing tiny tasks, suggested based on where you stand right now, what’s missing, and what you should do next.

  • dig into the problem you care about

  • test how your thinking lands with real people

  • improve the clarity and originality of your idea

  • gather evidence that it's resonating—or learn early that it isn't

🔄 This creates a virtuous cycle of real action, insights, and progress.

🔑 And as you make progress, you unlock live group coaching and other personalized support from us

Less classroom, more laboratory

a place to test your thinking, not just absorb ours

A look at your first week in the program

You'll start making progress on day one, even while you're still getting set up. On Nov. 11, each step of your onboarding comes with one small, productive task:

  1. Try your sentence. The one you just tried above. We'll save your first answer so you can see your progress over time.

  2. Name what annoys you. Record a short video about the conventional wisdom in your field that frustrates you.

  3. Start an investigation. Share a question about your idea you genuinely can't answer yet, and get to work.

Finish all three, and you've hit your first milestone, unlocking our first group coaching call: Wednesday, Nov. 18, 1pm ET.

From there, you'll share real examples of your work (talks, posts, session descriptions), and you'll get customized next steps based on where your idea actually stands.

Along the way, we'll track your progress, celebrate your wins, and help you get unstuck on our live calls.

Everything worth keeping goes into your Personal Library: the messaging language, visual frameworks, signature stories, repeatable phrases, and big questions that become your IP. No more great thinking lost in a notes app or meandering explanations of why you.

POSSIBLE IDEAS:

[PROOF: Featured testimonial — an outcome with a number (a first paid keynote, fee increase, or inbound demand), ideally from a paid speaker. Give this one more space, with a photo.]

Is this program for you?

Your fame, fee, title, and years of experience don't decide whether you belong.

The substance of your thinking does.

🟢 This is for you if:

  • You're a working speaker whose idea or positioning has plateaued.

  • You're an author bringing a premise to the stage.

  • You're a consultant, advisor, or founder who wants speaking to create demand for your work.

  • You're newer to speaking, but there's a problem you can't stop thinking about.

  • You'd rather do the work than watch someone else talk about it.

🔴 This isn't for you if:

  • You want a community forum or mastermind.
This program is about focused, individual work, with our group calls supporting that.

  • You want a fully completed talk in the next few weeks.
This is what many people think they need, only to end up building an entire talk around an idea that isn't actually bookable or referable. We're solving that problem.

  • You prefer to watch and absorb lessons, templates, and examples of viral "hooks" rather than tinker and test.
In this work, we learn best by putting our ideas in front of others. Lessons and templates are there to support that, not replace it.

  • You can't set aside at least 1–2 hours per week for small tasks.
Happily, the tasks you're assigned are the work you should be doing anyway. Unlike content-heavy programs, this doesn't pull you away from your work; it is your work.

FAQ's

I don't get paid to speak. Is this for me?
Yes. Whether you speak for a fee or to create demand for your business, the idea at the center of your work is what makes people remember and seek you out.

I just want to work on my talk. Why not start there?
Because the talk is built on the idea. The strongest talks change how an audience sees a problem: what's really going on, what people misunderstand, and what you see differently. Practical advice can follow, but the advice isn't the idea. Without the idea, a talk struggles to earn referrals and revenue.

Do not build and promote a talk on an idea that can’t support it.

I have my topic already. Is that my ownable idea?

Probably not yet. A topic ("leadership," "AI," "resilience") or a generic stance ("marketing should drive revenue") isn't ownable on its own. An ownable idea is your distinct way of seeing a meaningful problem, with enough substance to become a talk, a body of work, and a business. It says: "This is my way of seeing this problem."

I already have a framework. Is this still for me?
Probably. A framework is a great sign that you're thinking at the right level. We'll help you test whether it's truly ownable, and sharpen it if it isn't there yet.

How much time will this take?
At least 1–2 hours a week. The tasks are work you should be doing anyway, so they fit into your existing work instead of adding homework on top of it.

Is this live or self-paced?
Mostly self-paced, with access to that portion for 12 months. Live group coaching with us runs through Feb. 11, 2027 and is unlocked by completing your tasks.

What if I get busy and fall behind?
You can't fall behind. Progress is measured by task completions and various milestones, not a calendar. The only time-bound piece is live support, which runs through Feb. 11.

Will I get 1:1 time with you?
The heart of our live support is the group calls. A few members who make the most progress will also earn 1:1 calls with Andrew or Jay.

How is this different from the Green Room?
The Green Room is where speakers who already have an ownable idea build their signature talk and speaking business around it. This program comes first: it's where you find and prove the idea.

What's the refund policy?
You can request a refund through Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2026, and we'll return your registration fee minus a 25% administrative fee. After Nov. 4, registrations are non-refundable.
